"Yeah...funny that...." I give him a look with my eyebrow raised but he has that cheeky look on his face that most of the time makes me laugh.
He's so honest there and what he says pulls at my heartstrings a bit, so I hug him. "Idiot...I'm not leaving ya...how would you ever survive without me."
I shake my head and then make a thoughtful sound. "Since we're being honest...how could I not, man we've been through so much crap already...and despite the jokes and stuff, I know I can count on you. We can count on other people too, but I feel you're the one who really knows me and gets the best out of me."
He doesn't like to admit it but man, we've cried together almost as much as we laughed together and even fighting is fun, most of the time. When one of us really is in a mood not so much, but that rarely happens.
