Valentines day

I have no idea whether Becky will even be at the centre today, but I call in there first, I see a pile of Valentines cards on one of the tables so I go over to inspect them. There's a few for all of the guys so I slip Becky's onto the pile and hope that she won't kill me!

Then I text Lando to tell him I'm on my way over. I have my bag of food with me, a card for Lando that I made, and at a chocolate shop yesterday I bought a box of chocolates shaped like little racing cars, and some shaped like dumbbells for Austin and Tyler. I'd feel so rude not turning up with anything for them! I love giving gifts and hope they will all like them!

I push the buzzer for the crazy family, and then wait for someone to answer, bouncing on my feet.

I've never gotten a friendships valentines card and that's a totally amazing idea! I don't know why I didn't think about it before. I text Fab a thanks, wishing him a great day and then leave the center, wiping my hands on my jeans. I'm heading for the training center, planning to leave a card for Page. He probably won't care, but part of me hopes...I sigh and call myself a silly cow as I slip in, looking around. One of the head trainers is talking to someone but mainly it's pretty quiet, which isn't surprising. I put the card in Adams locker and leave, leaning against the wall outsides and close my eyes. He's probably with some girl or guy right now, charming the pants off them. I sigh and walk off.

Something feels different after last morning. Maybe that's the next step in a relationship when you know you're safe...when you found your person and it's a long term thing at last. I can't help but to keep touching Breeze, every time we're close. Not even in a sexual way, just to let him know I'm there and always will be...or something. I feel amazing and I'm so happy for Lando that Fabbie is a romantic soul as it turns out. Lando is very excited and went out yesterday to get some Italian sweets for Fab and a card too. I guess he didn't expect anything before and wasn't sure whether he should do something. I told him to listen to his heart and do what feels right, always, even if he thinks he might not get anything back.

I open the door for Fab and beam at him. "Hi, come in!" I hug him quickly and laugh at the gift he gives me. "I didn't know chocolates come in those forms. Cool!" I call Lando, while leading Fab into the kitchen. "If you need any help, just call, alright? Other than that feel right at home...." I trail off because Lando slides past me on his socks and almost collides with Fab, but then just kind of hug tackles him. I snort softly and leave.

I'm so relieved that today isn't as cold as it has been the last week and the sun is out too. I dress up for wind and cold anyway, because even when sunny the wind is biting quite hard at the sea. I pack the picnic basket for Elyse and myself, smiling to myself and put the blanket on top.

So far we have flirted and talked a lot and that's cool with me, in fact I like that things are going slow, but I do hope to finally steal a kiss today maybe.

I park my car in front of the house and take a deep breath when I ring the bell, smiling when she opens the door. "Your cab has arrived. One to the sea with a picnic you said, I believe?" I hold out my hand with a grin.
