I beam at her and open the passenger door for her. "I aim to please." I wink at her and then laugh. I enter my car too and smile. "Thank you, but so do you. I hope you also put on the long underwear."
I drive us to the beach and we find a spot that sunny and has protection from the wind from a few rocks. I put the blanket on the sand and take Elyse's hand until she's sitting, before taking out the finger food and the thermos with warm tea.
"I guess champagne would have more stile, but I'm rather going for comfort than stile..." I shrug and smile at her.
